A customer who was moving premises from one side of Marlow to the other, required an established and experienced Structured data cabling installation company to work on their project.

A requirement of the IT Manager was that the solution provided should be backed by a manufacturer warranty and that a good quality system was to be used, we suggested a Hellerman Tyton Network Sciences Category 6 system with a 25 year warranty.

Prior to starting we issued a formal drawing pack detailing our cabling installation showing all floor box locations.

All cabling works were installed under a raised access modular floor and installed back to an open frame IT rack located in the centrally positioned Telecoms room.

The customer provided us with several changes to the project scope including additional Cat 6 cabling, Freesat satellite dish connections and a Digital aerial, all changes were managed under a formal change control process.

All of the outlets were wired into floorboxes - angled modules are best to use in these circumstances to ensure the patch leads are not damaged when the lids are shut

The cabling outlets and new patch panels were all fitted with engraved labels and fully tested with our Certification testers, a 25 year warranty certificate has been issued by Hellerman Tyton.

Electrical works:

We needed to relocate and rewire the electrical supplies to around 30 floorboxes, as well as installing additional sockets in the kitchen and provide PIR activated lighting to the car park area – all electrical works received through testing and certification.
