A printing customer of ours based in Feltham Middlesex, who deals with very large image files was suffering from extended timescales to transfer data around the factory.
The solution required was to install high speed OM3 Multimode fibre optic cables between the Main comms cainets on site and provide 10 Gigabit capable network links.
In total we installed two main cable runs around the factory as well as some Cat 5e cabling for general user access.
The cables we installed are capable of working at speeds of up to 40 Gigabits per second over the 100m distance.
If you require speeds beyond this a singlemode solution will generally be the best.
